Ending Our White Snake Blues
Years ago, Prehistoric Pets imported the first Leucistic Burmese pythons to the US. These are an exciting new morph, and the only proven co-dominate morph that exists for Burmese Pythons. Breed a "Lucy" to a normal Burmese, and ALL the babies will be Hypos (or Platinums)! The Hypo themselves are beautiful snakes, with reduced black pigment, that start out purplish as hatchlings and mature into beautiful buckskin adults with white sides. We have several strains of Hypos that carry the recessive genes for other popular morphs, which will allow us to create exciting new combos in the future, including Hypo Granites, Hypo Albinos (Sunglows), Hypo Greens, and Hypo Caramels (Caramel Glows)! These Hypo het's are a great way to get into the Hypo/Lucy game, and can be bred to any existing recessive morphs to create these new combos for the serious Burmese Breeder!
