Prehistoric Pets and The Reptile Zoo

remain open to the public 7 days a week!

10:00AM-7:00PM

What is there to do at The Reptile Zoo?

While visiting The Reptile Zoo guests can view hundreds of reptile exhibits displaying snakes, lizards, frogs, and tortoises from around the world. We usually recommend planning to spend about 2 hours enjoying the zoo.

Adventurous guests can join our interactive presentations for the opportunity to hold and interact with a few of our most popular pets which can include the Ball Python, Bearded Dragon, Sulcata Tortoise, Leopard Gecko, and several others. There are also opportunities to feed the fish and turtles in our 2,000 gallon indoor pond or feed our 100 lb tortoises their fruits and veggies.

How much is admission to The Reptile Zoo?

Entrance to The Reptile Zoo is available for $15 for adults and $10 children (3-12yrs) Admission to The Reptile Zoo is always free for guests 3 and younger.

How much are the passports?

An annual passport is $85 which includes unlimited access to The Reptile Zoo for one year, excluding special events.

Why do we have to pay now?

We are continually expanding and improving our exhibits and displays. We are currently working on improving the smaller enclosures as well our now completed alligator exhibit. The retail portion of Prehistoric Pets where animals and supplies are available for purchase is of course is still free,

Can we take pictures or video of animals while at The Reptile Zoo?

Yes you are welcome to take pictures and videos and we would love you to share them by tagging us on Instagram @TheReptileZoo

Visiting July 8th

We are so excited to visit! I follow Jay on Instagram, my son and his dad watch on you all YouTube. My 5 year old son Ellix (Instagram @fighting_for-ellix) LOVES everything reptiles and bugs.
We will be celebrating Ellix being cancer free when we visit!
I actually visited this place when I was a kid (I’m 34 now) when you were a reptile shop and didn’t charge admission. You gave special visits with a giant tortoises and had a waterfall at the entry way with free roaming animals. All this time I never realized it was the same place as Jay!
We can’t wait to stop by! So glad you guys are still around.

THANK YOU!

Jay~I grew up in Anaheim and had my first snake (a 10’ Burmese Python) in 1968! For the next 40 years I kept Reptiles and amphibians as a hobby! In 2008 due to heath issues and Marital pressure ( unhappy wife, unhappy wife!) I had to dispose of my 105 snakes in my awesome collection ! I have never lost my love! Your videos are a welcome lifeline to the hobby! Thanks for doing them! From an Ancient Herpet!
